A Benefit for Go For Broke’s Ken Eavel
PBS' own Ken Eavel from widely revered program ‘Go For Broke’ spent months organising what was to be a spectacular evening of a rock and roll starring a cavalcade of Melbourne’s finest to ring in the new year. Unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be. In the eleventh hour the event was cancelled due to nearby bush fires, and Ken was left to cover the set up costs.
What happened next? Some of the bands got together to put on a fundraiser this weekend. Come along to the Public Bar on Saturday 9th of January to see Sun God Replica, Harry Howard and the NDE, Ali E and Beware! Black Holes. Doors from 8pm for just $12.
