20 Ovens St Brunswick
9pm $12 Entry
The 20 Ovens Warehouse will play host to some of Melbourne’s favourite live acts on Saturday 17th December. Heading the line-up will be hip-hop collective Lotek [UK] with special guest Kak Hand [NZ]. Joining them will be renowned soulstress Monique Brumby, local rap-master Pataphysics, 7-piece psychedelic powerhouse Lamarama, and the explosive troop Squid Squad. There will also be a guest appearance by the boys from Polo Club to perform a special DJ set.
This event forms part of a national campaign, headed by Save The Kimberley and The Wilderness Society, to raise awareness of the industrial and mining threats to the Kimberley region of Western Australia. It will give local residents a chance to show their support for the protection of the Kimberley, while experiencing some of Melbourne’s best artists in a notorious live music destination.
