Seedy Jeezus, once quoted as "The Bearded Shamen of Riffology" take the beast that is 60s psych and meld it to the throbbing corpse of 70s rock. They have released three 12" records in 2015. One was their self titled debut which has sold out in Australia and Europe with a repress coming out in conjunction with Berlin's Kozmic Artifacts in February 2016.
Another was a single song etched vinyl with a song "Echoes in the Sky" on one side and a stunning etched motif done by singer/guitarist Lex Waertus to sell at the shows for their July European Tour, which involved shows across Germany, Holland and Belgium, involving North Carolina's Freedom Hawk, Earthless, Orchid, Blues Pills and Electric Moon to name a few.
The third 12" release was a bonus two track containing a psychedelic swamp out of Neil Young's Cortez the Killer and a Seedy space jam called "Into the Midnight Sun", which came in a limited edition denim bag as part of their Pozible fund raiser campaign.
The debut album was recorded at the legendary Tote in Collingwood, Melbourne, Australia, after they flew Tony Reed from Mos Generator out from the US to record and produce it.
(The album was also launched at the Tote, to a full capacity crowd with good friends Sun God Replica, River Of Snakes, and TTTDC in March 2015.)
