An opportunity for sober people to recharge and re-energise at Coburg Lake while dancing to DJ Lucky Socks spinning 80s, 90s, and house grooves.
The organisers of Coburg's popular Friday Free Lunch have begun this new community event in order to facilitate a safe and encouraging space that brings together people who want to party or hang out in a sober environment. The 6 hours of dancing will be a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and to get the endorphins flowing.
This is part of a series of events that have begun in the last year which aim to reduce isolation and bring together community members in fun environments.
Sober-up Street Party will be held at Coburg Lake Amphitheatre from 2-8pm on Sunday January 20.
