This week's feature album comes from Melbourne trio The Sockettes with their debut album Wendy's Place.
From jazz piano to Irish fiddle, mandolin and to folk guitar, The Sockettes unify their learnings, individual genre's and personal experiences to create a range of warm and engaging song writing.
Wendy’s Place is an intimate, honest collection of stories told between friends. Méabh, Alice and Leah share their experiences of love, heartbreak and the transition between the two with frankly confessional folk songs delivered with mellifluous three-part harmonies.
Wendy's Place is an independent release available to stream, download and purchase on CD and vinyl now.
