As summer turns to autumn you’ll hear a few changes on air at PBS.
On Wednesdays at 7pm Monica returns with ‘Against the Tide’, an hour of tasty electro-indie treats from home and abroad. It’s great to have Monica back and she’ll arrive with a mountain of music after a year away from radio.
Also returning to PBS will be Izabel Caligiore and ’Lullabies for Insomniacs’ on alternate Thursday mornings between 2 and 6am, while Trent Sterling joins the PBS roster with ‘True Grit’ on alternate Tuesday mornings from 2am. ‘Lullabies for Insomniacs’ provides a space for the exploration of subtle beats and textural electronica. ‘True Grit’ by contrast will focus on bands exploring the classic sounds of 1960s and 1970s rock ‘n’ roll.
24 hours a day, 7 days a week… you’ll always find the very best selections from across the full spectrum of contemporary music on PBS. For full programming details check out our website at www.pbsfm.org.au/guide .
