The countdown to Strawberry Fields is well and truly underway. Following the much‐hyped first announcement, a whopping fifty further artists have been added to the bill.
Leading the charge is one of Detroit's most prolific house selectors Moodymann (exclusive Victorian performance) ‐ back to the wildlands after his memorable bush debut in 2013. Keeping it in the Mahogani Music family, London Based Dan Shake will also be joining the party, along with the Australian debut & exclusive performance of HVOB live, melodic house maestro Atish, and Voyage Records representatives Youandewan & Andy Hart.
Other notable additions include self‐taught, singer songwriter, beat boxing, guitar shredding
loopologist Tash Sultana , Perth hip‐hop trio and nu‐jazz quartet Koi Child , Future Classic
wunderkind Charles Murdoch, the debut of the András live band show, along with Melbourne
legends CC:Disco , Alice Ivy and Sleep D [live], and new kids on the block Alice Ivy , Billy
Davis, Albrecht La’Brooy and 30/70 collective.
This year’s lineup will also deliver a solid takeover component. Tastemakers’ Wondercore
Island will showcase their tight sonic family’s diversity with performances from Swooping
Duck, Nai Palm, Oscar Key Sung [DJ set], Vulture St Tape Gang, GROENI, Lossless & Corin .
A second showcase will be delivered by London institution Rhythm Section International
featuring head honcho Bradley Zero, Chaos in the CBD & Prequel.
