PBS 106.7FM and Leaps and Bounds Music Festival presents ‘Swinging City’, a live broadcast of Radio City and Swinging Doors from Corner Hotel.
To celebrate and launch Leaps and Bounds 2024, PBS will continue our tradition of a live broadcast from one of Yarra’s finest establishments. This year PBS will be at Corner Hotel on Thursday July 25 from 1pm, presenting not one, but two PBS radio shows live-to-air from the rooftop bar and courtyard.
Join hosts Crispi Winsor and Myles O’Neil-Shaw for 4 hours of live music, special guests, rare records and a few laughs as Radio City and Swinging Doors combine for this special broadcast. Between 1pm and 5pm you’ll hear intimate live sets from Freya Josephine Hollick, Queenie, The Ronson Hangup, Amarillo, Hana and Jessie-Lee’s Bad Habits, and Ben Mastwyk (pictured - photo by Laura May Grogan).
Entry is free, and doors will be open from 12pm. Drop in for some great live radio, a cold beer, or come along early for a hearty meal from the Corner’s winter bar menu. If you can’t make it along, you can always tune in from 1pm on PBS 106.7FM, on PBS Digital Radio, our smartphone apps or online at pbsfm.org.au.
