Yarra City Council’s Room to Create Fund Advisory Committee is now calling for Expressions of Interest.
Council is seeking two community representatives to be part of this new and significant opportunity.
The Room to Create Fund has been set up to provide a central pool of funding for grants to support the infrastructure-related needs of Yarra’s artistic community. The fund is managed by the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation.
The Room to Create Fund Committee will be a sub-committee of the Yarra Arts Advisory Committee (YAARTS), which advises Council on arts and cultural matters. This sub-committee will provide a formal mechanism for Council to seek specialist advice as required on matters related to the development and management of the fund.
