Award-winning reggae powerhouse Richie Stephens has teamed up with backing band The Ska Vendors for the upcoming Jamaican Music and Food Festival. Ahead of their performance, we're welcoming them in to the PBS studio for a Studio 5 Live on Saturday November 9.
Having worked with the twice Grammy Award winning Soul II Soul in 1990s, Richie Stephens has had a long and prolific career, establishing the Pot of Gold label, releasing dancehall singles throughout the 90s and putting out tracks with the likes of Mad Cobra and General Degree. In recent years Richie has been exploring Ska, creating some unique, toe-tapping tunes.
