Welcome to Wuigada.
Wuigada is a dedicated space on the front page of the PBS 106.7FM website where First Nations musicians can share and celebrate music made by other First Nations musicians with PBS audiences.
Each week we'll be sharing playlists curated by First Nations musicians, as nominated by other First Nations musicians involved in the project, ensuring that curatorial control of Wuigada is collectively self-determined by First Nations musicians.
Wuigada was named and developed by the highly acclaimed indigenous singer songwriter, Kutcha Edwards. Wuigada in Mutti Mutti means 'to sing'.

Please tell us about any of your new (or upcoming) releases:
I have been using the time to restructure my music business and have begun preproduction for a second solo album. I will be heading into the studio to professionally record over the next 12 months with a release date yet to be announced.
Putting your own music aside, can you choose a song by a First Nations musician that has had a big impact on you, and can you tell us about your connection to that song?
'Inside My Kitchen' by Tiddas. I first heard this song while performing as the support act for Tiddas on their 1999 tour with my acoustic family group the Briscoe Sisters. The lyrics spoke so loudly to me saying "Sis I'm not your competition, I am your support." I carry this idea not just through my music career but also in my everyday life.
