This December, PBS’ 5Ft High & Rising is celebrating 10 years on the airwaves. Presented by Myles O'Neil Shaw, 5Ft High & Rising presents the best in alt country, previewing new and old tunes from the full alt country musical spectrum, from Wilco to Mary Gauthier to The Idle Hoes.
Myles originally came to radio presenting a segment on a friend’s show called Blue Green Footprints on 3CR. He got the radio bug, did the PBS announcer course, and is now a decade into 5Ft High and Rising.
