After a very successful debut season, The Shadow Electric Open Air Cinema, based at the Abbotsford convent, is back this summer, scouring the best of Australian and international cinema to present a season of 62 cracking films.
Screening a range of arthouse, classic retrospective and cult films, some of which have not been screened in cinemas since their initial release, The Shadow Electric 2013 season includes The Apartment, The Night of the Hunter, Volver, Samsara, Django Unchained and more!

March 2nd: PBS presents Soul-Au-Go-Go
Featuring the best Australia has to offer in funk and soul, Soul-A-Go-Go presents an exciting band special to kick off 2013 with a bang, including Deep Street Soul, Cookin’ On 3 Burners and Florelie Escano on March 2nd playing through the afternoon. To keep the party really tickin’ along, regular Soul-A-Go Go DJs Miss Goldie and Zack Rampage promise to deliver Melbourne’s most prestigious floor stompin’, butt shakin’ party whilst spinning their electrifying mix of 45s before, after and in-between the bands!
