Having toured with Sigur Rós and composed the ethereal score for hit UK TV series Broadchurch, Icelandic multi-instrumentalist Ólafur Arnalds continues his musical ascent with his third full-length album, For Now I Am Winter.
‘Post-classicist’ Arnalds weaves complex, luminous layers of fragile sound: minimalist classical, orchestral strings and piano, ambient effects, pop harmonies and restrained beats and loops.
