With 16 days of musical feasting and a selection of mouth watering performances ranging from jazz, folk and hip hop through to rock and roll at its best, the 2010 Darebin Music Feast is getting ready to serve up another delicious treat.
Taking place from 4 to 19 September at a range of venues, the Darebin Music Feast is Melbourne’s most musically and culturally diverse festival, reflecting Darebin’s eclectic population.
The 2010 program delivers a slice of the cultural music pie that reflects the City of Darebin, with over 1500 performers playing in over 25 venues and cosy hidey-holes across Northcote, Preston, Thornbury, Reservoir, Bundoora, and Fairfield.
The Darebin Music Feast is a festival dedicated to song-writing and community music, in all its diverse forms. It is an exciting, all-inclusive festival with a program of over 100 musical treats that celebrates the musical diversity of one of Melbourne’s most thriving musical communities.
