Love of Diagrams Blast (PBS Feature Record)
Six years on from their last record Love of Diagrams have lost nothing. Recorded with Steve Albini in Chicago, Blast shines with fuzzy vitality and pop sweets. The album is an exploration of tensions - between floating harmonies and bottom end thud; melody and noise. Rich guitar textures intertwine with Antonia Sellbach's reverb drenched vocals to produce dream-like wanderings. Luke Horton's overdriven guitar pushes into the red without ever sounding cacophonous. Peeling back the layers of noise exposes a vulnerability that sits at the heart of Blast. Love of Diagrams gracefully thread their way through punk, indie, shoe-gaze and pre-grunge.
Timing and dynamic changes reveal a fluidity to their playing and songwriting throughout. Welcome back, Love of Diagrams.

Courtney Barnett Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit (Featured on The Breakfast Spread)
Courtney Barnett’s debut full-length album is finally here and it is certainly worth the wait. She’s been on the Melbourne scene for only a few years but she has taken her perceptions on Melbourne life as well as her own adventures on to international stardom. Her progress has been quite remarkable from releasing her first EP locally to appearing on Jimmy Fallon in the US singing breakout hit 'Avant Gardener'. As a result, the interest surrounding her first album was always going to be great and it really is a winner. From the melodic pop of opener 'Elevator Operator' to the slow, blues-like groove of 'Small Poppies' and the story telling of 'Depreston', Courtney has made the album we were all hoping that she would make.
