As part of a firm commitment to tackling gender parity in our membership ranks, APRA AMCOS announces five new mentorship placements in the fields of metal and popular/contemporary music for female songwriters. These opportunities are designed to provide the mentee with guidance on real life projects, practical advice on establishing a career, and support on expanding and honing the songwriter’s craft.
Applications are open to all female and female-identifying APRA AMCOS members at any stage in their career to apply. Whether you are starting out, returning to the industry or looking for advice on moving to the next level, your application will be seriously considered.
All mentorships are offered for a three month period and mentees will receive some financial support over that time. Applications close on Friday 2 February 2018.
