35 years ago, the Melbourne Jazz Co-operative presented the Browne-Costello-Grabowsky trio at RMIT’s Glasshouse Theatre.
Since, it has presented over 3,000 concerts of improvised music of the highest calibre, performed by celebrated and emerging musicians from around the world, throughout Australia, and most importantly, from across Melbourne.
That’s a lot of gigs for a lot of musicians, and a lot of joy for a lot of punters! To celebrate this remarkable and continuing innings, the MJC is throwing a party with all of the trimmings. A fine community of musicians will be rolling up their sleeves to provide for your tummy, thirst and ears.
Join the MJC as they celebrate their pivotal contribution to the musical landscape of this fair city.
