Have you ever dreamed about attending Reggae Sumfest, Jamaica's biggest music festival? Or dancing at outdoor soundsystem dances under the stars, with the smell of jerk smoke in the air, and a cold Red Stripe in your hand?

How about seeing the places of reggae legend - studios like Studio One, Jammys, and Tuff Gong, Augustus Pablo's Rockers record shop, the legendary Alpha Boys School, and Bob Marley's house at 56 Hope Rd? Perhaps you follow the current reggae and dancehall scene, and would love to see contemporary artists in action, recording and voicing dubplates. If so, this is the tour for you - a reggae lover's trip to Jamaica!

Join Babylon Burning’s Jesse I for two weeks in July 2018, exploring the island of Jamaica and all that it has to offer. Starting with three nights in Montego Bay at Reggae Sumfest, we’ll then travel to Treasure Beach for some relaxation, before continuing on to Porus to experience a traditional Rastafari nyahbinghi groundation. Next we head for Kingston – Jamaica’s vibrant capital city, and the birthplace of reggae and dancehall music, where you can soak up the culture and explore the city and surrounding areas by day, and party at soundsystem dances by night. We’ll also head overnight to Blue Lagoon & Port Antonio before heading back for a final party in Kingston to top it all off.

Jump on board and secure your ticket! You’ll get an insight into the history of Jamaica’s music scene, while also hearing the new stars on the block. Meet the locals, see the city and the countryside, and spend time with PBS’ Jesse I and a bunch of likeminded folk. Plus you get to escape the dreaded Melbourne winter!
