Jumpin’ the Blues is a two-hour program covering blues and R&B from the Golden area to contemporary blues. Exploring West Coast blues, jump blues, Texas blues, Chicago blues, New Orleans and Delta blues, Gospel, Zydeco, swamp blues and local blues; with the occasional interview and information on festivals, local events and touring acts.
Some of the artists recordings featured on the program have included:
T-Bone Walker, Big Joe Turner, Prof. Longhair, Jimmy McCracklin, Louis Jordan, Hop Wilson, Little Walter, Lowell Fulson, JB Lenoir, Magic Sam, Otis Rush, Big Mama Thornton, Memphis Minnie & Fats Domino.
