Synthesize Me
Contrary to (somewhat) popular belief, Synthesize Me is not a synth show! Merely inspired by the Space Lady’s 1990 piece of the same name, Bridget and Henry were encouraged by the ethos of the song's mantra “hypnotise me, humanise me, energise me, synthesize me…”
Synthesize Me has evolved into a soundscape that perhaps lends more from the process of photosynthesis, ensuring music that is overlooked has its time in the sun.
Anything goes on Synthesize Me, however, there is an inclination for obscure pop, folk, ambient, downtempo, experimental, post-punk, indie-rock, trip-hop, shoegaze, electronic, psychedelic and chuggy sounds.
Synthesize Me looks intently into unusual Australian treasures past to present as well as jumping around the globe for evocative releases, inviting interesting DJs, selectors and artists into the studios to contribute to the weekly playlist.
