Yugambeh/Kombumerri (Gold Coast) based alternative 6-piece Selve are about to release their new EP 'Breaking Outta Heaven' on June 19. An expansion of their 2025 album 'Breaking Into Heaven' (the first full-length album ever recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios by an Aboriginal artist), the EP arrives as the band prepares to embark on an east coast tour before heading to the EU and UK. Brooke catches up with the band, chatting about their free show at Lulie Tavern on August 14.

Fresh off the release of their debut EP 'Sicko', Naarm’s Jeane return to The Tote this July 24, with support from local bands Sonic Reducer and Gloomie. Led by front woman Jazz Johnston, 'Sicko' explores faith, femininity, vulnerability and self-expression through jagged guitars, hook-heavy songwriting and raw, unfiltered storytelling. Jeane stop by PBS, chatting with Brooke on Homebrew about their new EP and the release show.
