MPAVILION OPENS TADAO ANDO-DESIGNED PAVILION, KICKING OFF MILESTONE TENTH YEAR!

Since 2014, the Naomi Milgrom Foundation has commissioned extraordinary architects, artists and designers to create unique pieces for each MPavilion – elevating their careers and enhancing visitor experiences. In celebration of their milestone decade, this year’s MPavilion program will be anchored by 10 creative commissions spanning art, design, fashion, food, literature and music.

This week’s PBS Feature Album is Rivulets by OK EG, aka Lauren Squire and Matthew Wilson. The duo take intrepid recce’s on a Kalahari debut of fathoms-deep techno minimalism and opiated braindance styles. With release titles like Intertidal Zone, Anther, and Prismatic Spring, their ambition to evoke natural worlds is evident. But these tracks aren’t of this planet. Navigating truly alien terrain, Rivulets finds the duo imagining uncharted environments into existence through the medium of analogue hardware.

The much-anticipated Inward Goods Festival is set to return for its third edition in the picturesque Moornappa Forest, Briagolong, for two dreamy nights of music and art, set in a natural amphitheatre among the golden gums. Be visually and audibly thrilled, while you tip back a delicious cocktail (or cup of tea) at the Forest Stage, join a wine tasting in the Freestone Press Gallery, and don’t forget to check out the installations along the way.
