Snowy Band - Audio Commentary

Liam ‘Snowy’ Halliwell has been one of Melbourne’s busiest musicians over the past decade. He’s written and played on more songs and in more bands in Melbourne, than anyone would care to write or read, however his new project SB (Snowy Band) might be his finest and most sincere work to date.   

Following up from singles 'Love You To Death' and 'Never Change', the album has finally landed in the world and it couldn't have happened at a better time.

PBS was deeply saddened to learn last week of the passing of Sean Baxter.  Sean has been an integral part, and in many ways a driving force, in Melbourne’s avant-garde and experimental music community for more than 25 years.  Sean was a founding member of iconic band Bucketrider, was involved in numerous other progressive and exploratory projects including Lazy and the trio Pateras/Baxter/Brown, has had a long association with The Make It Up Club, and regularly collaborated with artists and musicians from across the new music spectrum.

In response to the current impact of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), PBS is taking steps to ensure the health and wellbeing of its volunteers, broadcasters and staff. 

The doors to the station are now closed in an effort to reduce foot traffic. A skeleton staff is still here to answer phone calls for the time being so please call the station on 8415 1067 if you have any questions.
