The Resonant Heart is a uniquely curated and crafted multidisciplinary project that celebrates the work of an international group of BIPOC and CALD female artists who reside in Melbourne. Collaboratively developed between musician, curator and storyteller Nela Trifkovic and all the artists, the project navigates the themes of love, grief, joy and suffering, exploring a different aspect of these themes each year. Inspired by the Alcoa Steamship Company that ran a 13-day Caribbean cruises out of New Orleans which departed every Friday between 1949 - 1959. Charlie Halloran releases 'The Alcoa Sessions.' Formed in Sydney in August 1971 from expatriate Brisbane band Head, Buffalo are widely acclaimed as the Australian band that paved the way for hundreds of others in heavy genre. Now active ae as Buffalo Revisited, they have teamed up Ripple Music to release the first live LP 'Volcanic Rock Live.'
