Bristling with warm static from the Melbourne underground, TV Haze emerged from a backyard studio in Preston a few years back; their sound taking a soulful and nostalgic journey back into sepia-toned, hook filled indie-rock.

This April will see the quietly prolific trio (Dylan, Sarah, Andy) release Circle The Sun - the band’s third full-length LP in just over 18 months! Recorded and mixed by Matt Chow (Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Deaf Wish) in a secluded farm cabin in regional Victoria, Circle The Sun sees TV Haze dial back the fuzz a few notches and expand their sound with additional instrumentation from Oakland via Melbourne musician Michael Beach, who adds a definite 70s (a la Big Star, The Byrds) influence to TV Haze’s ragged, sonic-rock approach.

TV Haze will join Erica on Mixing Up The Medicine for a Studio 5 Live session on Tuesday April 17 to celebrate the release of the album out via Poison City Records Friday April 13.

Listen back to Mixing Up The Medicine for a live set from TV Haze. Studio 5 Live is proudly brought to you by Mountain Goat.
