Fri 10 Feb 2012

It's live, it’s local, and it’s coming out of your radio. PBS’ Drive Live is taking over the airwaves for a full week from Monday February 6th to Friday the 10th during drivetime, 5-7pm.

On the last day of Drive Live, we’ll be going out with a bang on Stone Love with Richie 1250 at the helm. The ferociously feminine and always beguilding Stella Angelico will be charming one and all with her unique blend of psy-drenched soul before one man orchestra BJ Morriszonkle takes the helm; playing technicolour soundtracks from films of yore as well as those yet to be written that bounce manically around the walls of his fevered mind.

Capping off proceedings are local indie pop masters, Twerps. Currently riding high on the success of their self-titled opus, which has justifiably been garnering love wherever it goes both here and overseas, the set for PBS’ Drive Live will be a sound send off for the band’s coming trans-continental adventures.

PBS listeners, if you’re interested in getting in on the action during live music week then all you have to do is let us know! You and a friend can come down to any (or all!) of the sessions during the week to see your favourite bands playing in the studios, but RSVPs are essential!

Send us an email at events@pbsfm.org.au with the subject line: NIGHT (Monday, Tuesday) plus YOUR NAME and we’ll put your name on the door with a plus one.
