Dusseldorf, Detroit and Southern California permeate the truly expansive music of Melbourne’s own left field electronic music creator Other Places. Also renowned for performing incessant polyrhythms as drummer with Taipan Tiger Girls, Mat Watson (aka Other Places) channels a love for early 60s exotic instrumental music, cosmic techno and science fiction soundtracks.

Coming in off the back of the recently released album Lost in the Sea of Paradise, this is surely to be a dreamy morning on The Breakfast Spread.

Listen back to The Breakfast Spread for a live set from Other Places.Studio 5 Live is proudly brought to you by PBS and Mountain Goat.
