This Sunday night PBS will introduce a new show to our weekly roster. Following Gerry Koster’s decision to wind up his iconic show Dizzy Atmosphere, PBS is delighted to be able to continue our Sunday night focus on improvised music and progressive jazz with Stars In The Static, presented by musician, composer and bandleader Greg Sher.

Friends and brothers alike, instrumental dance outfit Intermood embrace the raw edge reminiscent of their formative musical experiences on Naarm/Melbourne’s dancefloors. Their debut extended play Casuarina is a warm and psychedelic experience which weaves between instrumental dream odysseys, club ravers and feel-good bops. There are obvious touches of disco, psychedelia and jazz, but there is something ‘other’ to Casuarina.
