Iconic U.S. band Endless Boogie describes themselves as "two or three guitars, whatever amps you got, one wah pedal, one distortion box. The bass, the drums. Reluctant vocals." Yet they are much, much more. In their 25-year career so far, these psych-rock luminaries have not ceased to keep pushing boundaries in their sonic explorations. Behind their so-called 'reluctant vocals' is the very accomplished Paul Major who drops in on Pojama People for an intimate chat about the band and its Australian tour.

Late last year, Milan Ring dropped her debut album, I’m Feeling Hopeful, a 14-track work that sees the Sydney-based R&B artist flex her chops as both a performer and producer. Trumpeter Phil Slater calls through on Soak this week to chat to Owen about his upcoming duo concert with Matt McMahon at the Melbourne Recital Centre, April 29. Slater and McMahon have performed and recorded with legendary figures including Archie Roach, Peter Sculthorpe and Lou Reed. The artists’ intuitive bond, cultivated over decades of shared performance history, brings clarity to their work as a duo. The gig is part of the Melbourne Jazz Coop's 40th birthday.

SAFF is a not-for-profit event organised by a group of passionate volunteers to showcase South African talent, culture and diversity and support educational opportunities for disadvantaged children and made it's debut as Sydney South African Film Festival in 2019. In May 2020, in response to COVID 19, the festival went online Australia-wide. Stani talks to Collins about the 2022 program.

James Ellis and the Jealous Guys are excited to present Swinging Doors: A Celebration of Merle Haggard at the Brunswick Ballroom. The band will perform two sets of songs from Haggard's catalogue.
