Australia Day Weekend 1972, Melbourne is set to have its own 'Woodstock-style' festival – The very first Sunbury Pop Festival. A three-day festival of music, fun, love, and peace. 50 years on, Spectrum have joined forces in Madder Lake along with Broderick Smith to celebrate the festival. Spectrum's Mike Rudd calls in to talk about this celebration of the festival at Brunswick Ballroom on March 20.

In 2019, Nigerian singer-saxophonist Femi Kuti joined local champions of Afrobeat The Public Opinion Afro Orchestra to play the fourth iteration of Beasts of No Nation, the annual PBS event paying homage to the irrefutable king of Afrobeat, Fela Kuti. Originally broadcasted on September 19 2021 Zvi called in to recount what it was like to perform along side Femi Kuti.
